• Data is temporarily relayed by the browsers of other participants.
• Skip.Li has no control over third-party peers acting within the network.
• The availability of links depends entirely on the distributed network.

2. User Responsibility

You agree not to use Skip.Li to share illegal, harmful, abusive, deceptive, or malicious content. Because the system is decentralized, users are responsible for the content they introduce into the network.

Skip.Li reserves the right to block access to the website in case of abuse or malicious activities detected at the application layer (such as automated flooding or attempts to compromise peer connectivity).

3. No Liability

Skip.Li is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Because no data is stored or moderated server-side, we cannot guarantee:

• link availability or uptime,
• accuracy of content distributed by peers,
• the identity or trustworthiness of peers who participate in the network,
• continuous operation of external components such as PeerJS signaling servers or WebRTC infrastructure.

Skip.Li shall not be held responsible for:

• content shared through the service,
• misuse by malicious peers,
• data loss caused by peer disconnections,
• actions of external providers (PeerJS, Google STUN servers, advertisers, analytics providers).

4. Security Measures

Skip.Li includes client-side security mechanisms to prevent tampering, such as URL hashing and distributed verification. While these systems improve integrity, the decentralized nature of the service means that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed.

Users are encouraged to avoid unofficial clones or altered copies of Skip.Li, as they may compromise security, privacy, or network integrity.

5. Third-Party Services

Skip.Li uses external technologies including PeerJS, Matomo analytics, and third-party advertising networks. These services operate independently and are subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.
